We are an intellectual property company focused on the use of wirelessly-releasable fasteners in consumer, commercial and industrial applications.

Fasteners are hardware devices that mechanically join or affix two or more objects together.  They come in all shapes and sizes, from nails, screws and bolts to ropes, cables, ratchets and suction cups. A fastener that is wirelessly releasable means that the fastener will only release  once it receives a wireless signal telling it to release.  For example, a smart phone may send a wireless BlueTooth communication to the fastener telling it to release.  Or someone could "tap" the fastener with their smart phone, so the phone's "near field communication" or NFC chip releases the fastener.

Imagine an electronically-releasable device like a portable lock box,  bicycle lock, or purse hook that stops the “snatch and grab” thief.  When they try to pick it up, it just won't budge!  It's like Thor’s magical hammer "Mjölnir" which can only be picked up by its true owner!

One of our products in development is a "universal fastener" for portable electronics, with a thin rubber-coated wire that wraps the four corners of an electronic device (e.g.lap top, ipad, smart phone).  The ratcheted wire spool is then attached to a table or desk with a suction cup.  Both the ratchet spool and suction are wirelessly releasable with our smart phone app.  

One of our simpler inventions  has two suction cups attached at their base, with one pointing up and another down.  The upward one is attached to an object, while the downward one is attached to a surface.  A thin version can be carried as a small disk in your pocket or bag, while a larger version may be a permanent mechanism in a product display upon which an object is securely fixed.

Everyone today carries a personal smart phone or smart watch, which has password and biometric security features that ensure only YOU are able to use it (or also, those people YOU trust).  Our smart devices recognize YOU because they are "paired" to YOUR smart phone.  If you use facial recognition, a passcode or your finger print to access your phone, our mobile app uses that same smart phone feature to release your valuables from our smart, wireless fasteners.

In our case, intellectual property currently includes patented and patent-pending devices and methods for securing valuable objects to fixed surfaces.  Our issued patents currently cover the use of "hidden suction cups" that can't be seen, and can only be released wirelessly.  Our overall portfolio of patents and applications covers many different uses for hidden, wirelessly-releasable fasteners of various types.  You can read more about our published inventions and ideas by clicking here.
